Authors Guidelines
IEEE Decentralized Energy Access Solutions (DEAS) is a multi-track workshop. It will accept for review original previously unpublished research review articles.
Submission Format: IEEE formatted articles are to be in a MS-Word or LaTex Template. For templates, please see submission site link below.
Length: 7-pages (“full paper”)
Submission site: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/405778ae35ef4dff9f550f69f088f058

Paper Guidelines:
The authors may use IEEE LaTeX or Microsoft Word templates when preparing their manuscripts, which must be in English. The papers must be uploaded in a PDF format, with fonts embedded. Headers, footers, and page numbers: No headers, footers, or page numbers should appear on your manuscript.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed and all accepted papers would be included in the conference proceedings. Only accepted seven (7) page papers will be submitted for publication into IEEE Xplore.
It is expected that the submitting author will present the paper (oral or poster) at the conference. If the submitting author will not attend, a co-author of the paper may present. All accepted papers (oral and poster presentation format) have been reviewed in EXACTLY the same manner with EXACTLY the same standards and no distinction will be made between oral and poster papers in the published IEEE proceedings. The Technical Program Committee must consider many factors when creating the technical program and choosing papers or either oral or poster presentation. All decisions are FINAL and not subject to negotiation or petition.
Final papers are limited to seven (7) pages. Please note that the submitting author must upload the final submission.
Authors should only submit originally written, unpublished work.
Author No Shows
IEEE-DEAS imposes a “no show” policy. Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author to attend and present the paper at the conference. Authors of the accepted papers included in the final program who do not attend will be removed from the Workshop and noted as “Author unavailable for presentation” prior to submitting to IEEE for inclusion in Xplore.
Information about Preparation for Paper Submission
All submissions must be in the format provided at link below.

Please follow the page margins strictly. You will not be permitted to upload your manuscript if it violates margin requirements thus; it is highly recommended that you use the PDF tool listed on the submission site to be sure it is IEEE Xplore compliant.
If a paper has several authors, at least one must be registered and attend the conference to present the paper. Otherwise, the paper should be withdrawn.
IEEE COMPLIANT PDF: create an IEEE Xplore compliant pdf file using the IEEE PDF Express service.
